Good point guard with a tough handle that has a bit of flash.  Though he is a crafty style point guard, Najeeb is good at balancing the “fancy” plays along with the simple plays.  He is a good passer and midrange shooter with the ability to take opponents off the dribble.

A small guard with deceiving quickness.  Deloney utilizes his dribble penetration well on the break as he draws defenders towards him and is able to hit the open man.  He’s a pass first guard that distributes the ball well.

A fundamental player who fits the traditional Thornwood guard mold.  Goins is a a heady player who is always thinking about how to maximize opportunities and contribute to all aspects of the game, regardless of the position he is playing.  He penetrates well and also shoots the three with confidence.  He is good at establishing position and boxes his man out very well.

An imperssive player.  Rhymes is very versatile.  He had good court vision and range extending to the arch.  He is very athletic with a great body.  He is good on the boards and plays very strong around the basket.

A quick player with pure point guard ability.  Stevenson’s game is very similar to Shaun Livingston’s.  He’s got good court vision but is a bit turnover prone, due to lack of experience.  His decision making should improve with maturity.

A hard worker that really loves to play the game.  Adam has very good size for his age.  He runs the floor well and hustles at all times.  He needs to learn to involve himself more in the game offensively.

A pass first guard with a good handle on the ball.  Wilburn always plays hard.  He is a good outside shooter that makes good decisions with the ball and should be a contributor to an improved Normal West High School.
