Javon Bell

WG

6'0"

155

2008

Normal (IL) Community West

Hard working guard that is very solid defensively.  Bell makes sure that he boxes his man out at all times.  He gets to the basket well off the dribble and knows how to space the floor.  Must improve his outside shot.

Carl Davis

PG

5'8"

155

2007

Bloomington (IL) H.S.

A marksman from beyond the arch with good rotation on his shot.  Davis can drop shots when set or off the dribble.  He is a solid ball handler with misleading quickness.  He loves to push the ball.  Defensively, Carl is solid.  He moves his feet well and plays very hard.  One of the best shooters throughout the state.

Isiah Hale

PG

5'8"

140

2010

Springfield (IL) H.S.

A smooth, fundamentally sound point guard that knows how to run a team.  Hale makes good decisions with the ball.  He tends to thread the needle a lot with passes but almost always gets them through.  He has an accurate three-point and midrange shot and is good defensively.  Will make a good point guard for a solid Division I school someday.

Tavares Ingram

WG

6'1"

175

2010

South Holland (IL) Seton Academy

A good athlete with a very quick first step.  Ingram's combination of quickness and foot speed makes him very hard to guard when used as a slasher.  He penetrates defenses very well but needs to work on finishing more around the basket.

Aaron Jake

WG

6'2"

190

2007

Rantoul (IL) H.S.

An ultra-athletic wing with springy legs.  Jake shoots the ball decently when left open.  He is strong and loves to block shots.  He went baseline a few times an attempted up and unders when he could have rose over the defense, but did not attempt to.  Also solid on the boards.  Aaron has potential but must hone his positive energy towards effectiveness on the court rather than excitement that doesn’t bring results.

Karl Madison

PG

5'9"

155

2010

Springfield (IL) Lanphier

Madison is a strong, fundamentally sound guard that is very aggressive.  He attacks the bucket well and always attempts to finish every play.  He also has a solid midrange game.  Karl is making a transition from the shooting guard to the point guard, due to his size, and has done it very well.  Additionally, he is a good defender.

Eric Pagsanjan

PG

5'9"

155

2008

Mundelein (IL) H.S.

A crafty ball handler with good floor instincts and excellent court vision.  Pagsanjan is a deceptively quick guard who makes plays appear effortless on the floor.  He is a solid floor general that always capitalizes on fast break opportunities.  Additionally, he shoots the ball well from the midrange area and uses both hands very well.  One major area Eric will want to improve on is his athleticism.  An overall impressive player.  A sleeper that is certainly one to watch.

Brandon Paul

WG

6'2"

165

2009

Gurnee (IL) Warren Township

Paul is an athletic high riser with an explosive first step.  He has good perimeter skills and a nice form on his shot but its consistency must improve.  When penetrating to the lane, he adjusts his shot well in mid air.  He runs the floor well and has a frame allowing him to add muscle, which he must do.  Brandon has a lot of potential and could be the next best thing out of Warren Township High School.

Keane Thomann

C

6'10"

275

2008

Olney (IL) East Richland

A big, strong, wide-bodied post player that takes up a lot of space.  When Thomann catches the ball inside, he’s usually either going to score or get fouled.  He doesn’t have a lot of skill but because of his size, he’s a force, when he’s in position.  He runs the floor well for his size but needs to lose a lot of weight and tone up, which will allow him to be more affective on the boards and play more “above the rim”.  Keane also needs to improve his aggressiveness towards the game and refine his methods of shot blocking.

Dante Williams

PF

6'8"

205

2007

Bartonville (IL) Limestone

An active post player with good potential.  Williams hasn’t learned the game just yet.  He runs the floor well and is an excellent shot blocker.  He has also shown that he has the ability to drive to the basket from 12 feet and in but he needs to work on finishing better while under it.  With improved offensive skills and aggressiveness, he has a chance to be a real tough player.  Dante is long and carries a nice frame but must add muscle and become stronger if he wants to be able to compete at the next level.
