Competed his first two seasons at Bloomington Central Catholic where he played on the varsity his freshman year and the beginning of his sophomore year before deciding he wanted to play sophomore. Now that Florez has transferred to Normal Community, he is looking to play a bigger role and help lead the Ironmen to victory.

Shaquille Florez
Scouting Report: A slim guard with a good shooting touch. Florez can light it up from the outside when set. He has a nice form and a picture perfect release on his jumpshot. He's also a good shooter from the midrange area. In addition to being a very good shooter, Shaquille handles it well and works hard defensively. Confidence is the key to his play.
