Never really got the chance to shine as he should of in high school because he played second fiddle to Iman Shumpert.  Will surprise a lot of people at Eastern Michigan, as he is one of the state's more underrated guards.

Scouting Report: An athletic lefty that can fill both guard slots.  Barnes is a good scorer.  He can shoot it and drive it but is no stranger to dishing it either.  He defends the ball well and has shown that he can take over a game offensively but needs to do so on a more consistent basis.
