Player Comparison: Dee Brown
Scouting Report: An excellent player with pure point guard skills. Pullen handles the ball well and loves to push it up the floor. He has very good court vision and is a very solid defender. However, when needed, Jacob can be used as a scorer, as he shoots the ball well from the outside. Also a solid defender.
Additional Notes:
As a sophomore, Pullen wasn't known as one of the state's "elite players". He was the 6th man for a solid MeanStreets club in the spring, but players began leaving the team, giving him an opportunity to prove himself. When Jacob received a starting role, he began to dominate the AAU circuit and picked up his first offer from Loyola-Chicago.
