Scouting Report: Solid point guard with superior ball handling and passing skills. Johnson knows how to break a defense down with his penetration but needs to add an outside shot to his game before being considered a high major prospect. On the defensive end, Aaron loves to heat up the ball.
Additional Notes:
Johnson was one of three incoming juniors that participated with the Illinois Warriors 17U during the 2005 summer. Of the three, he, along with Bill Cole, are the only two who started. In the same summer, at the AAU Super Showcase, Aaron made his name nationally as he basically beat Boo Williams Summer League, who featured many of the nation's most elite prospects, with one other player in Jon Scheyer.
