Top 2008 Prospects Still Unsigned
by Pat Benninger
July 6, 2008

Greg Hunt, 6'0" 185 lbs, Point Guard, St. John's Catholic Prep (Frederick, Maryland) - Hunt is a Bloomington, Illinois native who spent three years at prep school in Maryland.  Because he spent his schooling away from home, he was not included in our rankings but he is still and Illinois prep player.  He's very strong, uses both hands well, is a solid ball handler and passer, and shoots lights out from the 3.  He finishes well at the rim and definitely has Division I ability.

Isiah Nunn, 6'6" 190 lbs, Small Forward, Moline - Isiah is a very long, talented, and extremely athletic wing.  He's got the ability to put up 40 points while shooting over 50% from the field.  He's very efficient and was, without a doubt, the sleeper of the 2008 class.  He's got high major potential and there has been a lot of talk about prep school (mostly Brewster Academy).

Gozie Umeadi, 6'4" 205 lbs, Shooting Guard, Fenton - Umeadi is a high level athlete with a strong build and great confidence.  He is very good penetrating to the rack and posting up smaller defenders.  He rebounds very well from the perimeter, is a good shot blocker, and finishes very well in transition.  A load of Division II programs have offered Umeadi but he is looking to play at the Division I level and certainly has the ability.
