Jarosz Playing Well and Seeing Attention
by Pat Benninger
January 30, 2008

Justin Jarosz is not a name you hear often.  Nonetheless, he is one of the better class of 2008 prospects throughout the state of Illinois.

Jarosz is a 6'6" "point forward" who is very skilled.  He plays inside-outside but is more of a shooter than anything.  He's got a very heady game as he is the main ball handler for Lockport High School in addition to being their inside presence.

Justin has led his team to a very steady 14-5 record this season.  They have been very successful and may have a chance to get back down state.  As far as on a personal level, Jarosz is playing pretty well also.

"My stats for this season are 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists per game," stated Justin.  He is a big key to the Porters' success and, though is statline may not be outstanding, he's doing a lot of things that don't show up in the books at the end of each contests.

Recruiting wise, Justin is hearing from a lot of schools.

"Right now i am being recruited by Wisonsin-Green Bay, North Dakota State, IPFW, Elmhurst, Edgewood, Carthage, ISU (Illinois State), and Quinnipiac.  I have not been offered yet."

Staying close to home could be a factor in Justin's decision.  He will be making his decision at the end of the school season with help from, both, his parents and his AAU coach Steve Pratt (Full Package).
