Jackson Trims List to Five

Despite numerous "fish and miss" rumors by other Illinois recruiting "experts", Lewis Jackson has trimmed his list to five schools and MidStateHoops.com has the official scoop.

The 5'9" Decatur Eisenhower point guard has trimmed his list of schools to five: Bradley, Dayton, Indiana, Purdue, and Tennessee.  In doing so, Jackson eliminated schools including Butler, Colorado, Gonzaga, Illinois, UNLV, and USC who all offered scholarships.

Jackson, who received an offer from Southern Cal a while ago was recently reported as naming them his unofficial leader by The Poneman Report of depaul.rivals.com four days ago.  This report was completely and utterly false and unfounded.

Lewis will visit Purdue in the near future before making his decision, which will come before September 1st.
