THE BEST IN ILLINOIS HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL RECRUITING!

Central Illinois Post Player Young But Talented
by Pat Benninger
June 26, 2006

Central Illinois post product-Jordan Prosser, has claimed his spot as one of the top players regarding the class of 2009.  The 6'7" 220 lbs Eureka power forward, has been playing stellar on the AAU circuit as well as in the month of June with his high school teammates.

Prosser is a solid athlete that runs the floor like a deer; he is the rebounder and the first one back for the fastbreak layup.  He rebounds well and alters shots around the basket.  On the offensive end, Jordan has a very soft touch, giving him a solid mid range shot.  He is also very skilled around the basket.

Schools that have taken a notice in this 2009 prospect include Duke, Indiana, Wisconsin, Purdue, Florida State, Illinois, Illinois State, and Bradley (who have already extended an offer).

On the AAU circuit, Prosser competes with Team Illinois' 15U squad, which features D'mitri Riggs, Tywon Howard, James Kinney, Tom Norton, and Tony Ahlers.  However, program founder, Dodie Dunson, has been debating whether to move the skilled postman to the 17U level for the month of July.

Jordan has stated that he will be participating with Indiana Elite in Las Vegas at the end on next month, under Washington Community High School head coach, Kevin Brown.
