Hoffman Estates Guard Sees His Stock Rising
Hoffman Estates class of 2007 prospect, Michael McGahee, has been nothing less than impressive since the AAU circuit began. The 6'3" 170 lbs guard has set out to make a name for himself and that's exactly what he has done due to his hard work and perseverance. McGahee is a quick and athletic lefty that is good at getting to the basket and creating for himself and for others. He has a solid handle on the ball along with a nice touch from the midrange area allowing him to put up some big numbers. The defensive end is where Michael is most impressive. He gives 100% at all times when on the floor. Currently, McGahee participates with Larry Butler and the Illinois Warriors on the AAU circuit. He teams with a cast of all-stars including Manual Cass, Bill Cole, Aaron Johnson, Brandon McGee, and Justin Dehm. Though he is not the first option or even a starter, he makes big contributions and they have been noticed by a number of college coaches, namely, Western Illinois, Wyoming, and Bowling Green, among others. During the month of June, while participating with Hoffman Estates, Michael has raised his stock even more with his stellar play. He is averaging around 15 points per game along with 9 assists. He should be the team's focal point come November. Be sure to be on the look for McGahee during the month of July. He is sure to impress!
